This week is an exciting one for me because the first two internation editions of "The Curated Closet" are finally hitting the shelves! The German edition "Das Kleiderschrank-Projekt" is out today and the UK edition will be available on Thursday.
Before I went through the process myself I had no idea how much work goes into creating an international edition of a book. Sure, the actual book writing is already done, but everything that comes after that, the editing, the design, the promotion, has to be repeated and tailored each country. My international publishers at DuMont and Virgin Books did an amazing job and I am super happy with how both books turned out.
"Das Kleiderschrank-Projekt" features the same design as the US edition, but it's a little bigger and has a gorgeous hard cover which I love. You should be able to find it in all major bookstores in Germany, Switzerland and Austria and online of course, on Amazon or Thalia for example.
The UK edition of The Curated Closet has a completely different, much more minimalist design compared to the US edition, including different photos. My favorite parts of the design are the rose-gold detailing on the cover and the mint-pink contrasting accent pages. The UK edition will be stocked in all of the UK, Australia and bigger bookstores in Scandinavia. If you want to order it online, here's the Amazon link.
If you get either of these two, let me know what you think! And if you want to make my day, post your photo on Instagram using #thecuratedcloset and tag me.
